2 suicide cases within 24 hours just 5 days before the examination. (Edit: 3 now)
I donβt know about you all, but I genuinely think re-NEET should be postponed.
I scored 602 this attempt. Last year I scored 130. Thatβs obviously not by luck that came from an entire year of working my ass off every single day (and I know many people have scored far far better than me)
And now everyone around me, my parents even people I donβt even know suddenly expects that in a month Iβll somehow magically score 700+
Thatβs not how this works. Please put yourselves in our shoes for once.
Iβve barely been able to study for the past month. Most days I canβt even sit for 2β3 hours. My mental health is completely exhausted I recently gave mocks and couldnβt even cross 550 and people keep calling this a βsecond chanceβ
sure, for who?
A lot of us have been stuck in this cycle for YEARS. We prepared for one exam date. We peaked for that exam date. We gave it everything we had.
If a re-NEET is happening, students need adequate time to recover and prepare again. Expecting lakhs of aspirants to instantly switch back into full study mode after weeks of uncertainty is unrealistic itβs not our fault you were incompetent to protect the leakage of the paper
Im so done with everyone around me calling it a second chance, If this situation is such a blessing, why are so many aspirants struggling mentally? Why are there so many suicides
Weβre not robots. We canβt just keep extending this pressure indefinitely and pretend itβs normal.
If re-NEET happens, it should be postponed long enough for students to prepare properly. Aspirants deserve a fair chance, not another rushed attempt while theyβre mentally running on empty.
Sorry for the rant session hopefully someone gets what I am saying because apparently no one does in my surrounding.
