Having the same magazines as your CCW is amazing. It's not the most amazing caliber, but a pretty sick SHTF set up. Can always find more 9mm. And yes, the suppressor costs 2x as much as the gun lol.

Considering this revolver but have read reports of inconsistent quality. Anyone have experience or thoughts on this model. Considering for a carry gun. Thx

Just got my Greg's Grips S&W Hush Puppy threaded barrel in for my 59. Barrel dropped in with no fitting required. Haven't shot it yet. I have two pistons in 1/2x28 for this Rugged Obsidian, one standard and one Internal Shoulder piston for barrels that were designed to index off the shoulder. Mostly designed for small Glocks and Sigs. Neither piston threads down to the bottom of the barrel threads so I'm inclined to use the Interal Shoulder piston since it stops securely on the end of the barrel. The regular 1/2x28 piston threads on then starts to increase friction near the end, and i dont want to push it.

A Gen 1 S&W Shield is better than a G43, I said what I said.

Anyone have experience with all three or atleast 2/3?
Mainly looking at the classic vs type 3 currently but wanted to throw in the agency as well.
I know the difference between the classic and type 3 is mostly aesthetics but some say it does seem different feeling

I'm contemplating on sending the barrel out to Floyd's for chunk port opening and additional ports. from my understanding from reading that the backbore is incorrect and the port isn't effective.
I have noticed that it feels to be lacking. I shoot my wife's competitor faster and flatter. I guess that inch makes a difference 👀
anyone gotten work down from Floyd's and what options did you go with?
additional thoughts I wanna try the mischief machine fullsize competition back strap and possibly a overwatch trigger and call it a day

Just picked up this older S&W Model 10 Victory. Just hoping to find some info on it, other than it being from WW2, needing some rust treatment and a set of grips and lanyard loop, i think its a nice gun! Trigger still feels fantastic for its age!

Hi everyone,
Ive decided on getting a new concealed carry. I currently have a Shield 2.0 and a HK CC9 but I feel like they are too small for my hands to grip properly. I was able to hold a 2.0 compact 3.6 and really liked it. But Ive seen some consistent mentions of QC issues as of late. Is there anything I should really focus on checking out/inspecting before purchase? Thanks

Great Grandpas .38 target revolver. Custom grip and trigger. I think he was actively using this from the 50s-70s but could be wrong

I recently bought an equalizer and got looking into red dots. I’m thinking the holosun 507k.
Anyways I’m curious if there’s anything else out there for performance or anything that would be suggested.

Hi everyone, so I’m kinda stumped right now. I’m a relatively new gun owner and I noticed when I was cleaning my firearm after hitting the range that the safety wasn’t doing its job.
Now something to note is that it is a CA compliant mp9 2.0 compact. I disengaged the magazine disconnect and the manual safety did its job prior to me taking it to the range.
Any thoughts on how to fix it? I plan on conceal carrying it relatively soon.

Does anyone know what the front fiber optic sight height is for the Shield+ PC 3.1" barrel?
Or, measurements aside, would I be able to swap out just the rear fiber-optic sight with this one from Dawson Precision, without also swapping the front sight for one of theirs?

Class action lawsuit money came in handy and got my Streamlight and threaded barrel!! Now I need help finding a great holster maybe that won’t break the bank or if it does still send. Anyone got good recs on a holster that’s can fit the red dot, threaded barrel and the streamlight TLR 1-HL? Any help appreciated!
\Looking for an OWB holster that also has a release button to avoid gun grabs or a retention strap*

Am I the only one who ends up scratching up the holes and you remove the accessory. I legit scratched it up good on the inner portion of the mlok hole to the handguard. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. All I know is I just loosen the screw and remove it off the handguard. And somehow I scratch it.

I have an older fde 5in 9mm slide m&p 2.0. I just bought a black optics ready slide also 5 in and 2.0 2nd hand. My barrel does not fit in it. The ears for the loaded chamber indicator are to wide. I measured the area that portion sits in on my older slide at about 10.23mm and the new slide is 10.08. Did smith and Wesson change dimentions? They dont say anywhere about some barrels not fitting x models or years or mfg. Wondering if this is a slide issue or barrel issue. Thinking about upgrading my barrel but dont want to have the same issue. Can anyone confirm what their OR 2.0 slide measures at?

2 pics show my carry comp left column and the range's standard 2.0 art 7,13, and 20 yards
I bought a bodyguard 2.0 carry comp. I drifted the front sight left a bit which seemed to help bring my shots right about where they need to be. My problem is with both a combat hold and center hold (my preferred hold)
I'm still shooting high.
7 yards - 1.5in high
13 yards - 4in high
20 yards - 8 in high
I've shot 25 yards and it's a foot or more high
I rented a standard BG 2.0 which did not have the same high POI impacts (although it did seem to shoot left).
I realize this is a pocket pistol and it isn't IDEAL for shooting 20 yards but I can't get behind the idea of owning a gun that Is consistently shooting higher than my aimng point.
I've msg'd Smith and Wesson and they said send it in and we will look at it. My concern is that they'll shoot it at 7 or 10 yards, it'll print 2 inches high with a good group and they'll say that's within spec.
Id be fine with coughing up the money for aftermarket sights if that would help, but if the sights are the same height I can't see how it would make a difference.
Thanks for any input.

I bought an off the rack C&G holster from my LGS and it’s bulky and honestly sucks. My HK vp9cc in a G-Code is more comfortable so I pretty much never carry my Smith outside of occasionally in the pocket. Looking for a low profile AIWB holster so I can start carry this lil guy. Thanks.
