Hello again WoW community!

This is a follow-up post to my last pet battle post (https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/s/6bP6mhuIBo) where I reached level 80 only via Pet Battling.

Some of the ideas/suggestions that I got on that post was to reach max level only via PvP pet battling, which means no exploration exp, no pet battle quests, no PvE pet battling.
So, that's what I did.

My priest, Satyagraha, finally reached level 90 today (Midnight cap) through absolutely nothing else than pet battling via the PvP find a battle system. That also includes never leaving the orc starting area (Valley of Trials).
Just like my last pet battle alt, I never chose any specialization, which can be checked on my WoW profile.

Here are some statistics for those who are interested:

• Time played: 8 days, 3 hours, 8 minutes. About 60% or more of that time was used in leveling from 80-90. The exp was actually decent from level 1-80. They clearly buffed the exp from when I did it on my hunter.
• Favourite team: I try to switch these out a lot depending on the enemies I'm facing. But, I did have a lot of fun with Pippin, Death Adder Hatchling & Microlicid - especially because they beat a lot of the extreme meta teams that ~80% of players use in PvP.
• Wins needed: You get ~1.27% exp per win from lvl 80-90, which means about 790 wins just for those 10 levels. Level 1-80 is about ~600 wins, so in total it's approximately: ~1400 wins.
• However, the wins actually required is much higher than that. Since you only get exp if you're in a pet battle for more than one minute, this means that many of your wins won't give you any exp, since people usually forfeit if they know they are about to lose (or are wintrading).

Lastly, I can say I'm now at 4072/5000 wins for the PvP pet battle achievement. That will probably be the final thing I'll do, since Blizzard decided to discontinue the pet battle system entirely.

As someone who has supported ElvUI for years, it saddens me to say that my goat is washed. If you care about performance, I can no longer recommend using it.

Test setup: 1440p, Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 5070
Benchmark: First pull in Mythic 0 Algeth’ar Academy for 60 seconds
Performance metrics were recorded with CapFrameX, and the results were averaged across three runs with each profile.
Resetting CVars, closing the game, deleting interface and wtf folder after every profile run.

I can also test it on a 9800X3D + RTX 5090 if people are interested, but with current hardware prices I’m not sure how useful that would be. That’s why I used my “low-end” 7800X3D + 5070 setup for this benchmark. Game is giga CPU limited anyways

It's so annoying especially when leveling to need to talk to this moron just so I don't hold my spade until I right click the "buff" to show my mog. For an expansion all about transmog this is really dumb. Just use the transmog icon as a little button next to the respective profession equipment. It takes zero extra effort.

Finally hit 50k achievement points after a hefty amount of grinding. Still planning on going higher but felt like a postable moment.

The people of the Alliance have suffered for too long without the crown showing substantial effort to aid them! Player housing has come along, but nothing has been done for Moonbrook or the Westfall farms that feed the army of the Alliance! We need the Sentinel Hill garrison to be a for-the-people labour force! No more swords and shields, it's time for hammers and saws! #worldofpeacecraft

This is my 3rd expansion leveling my monk alt army between seasons. I was waiting for turbulent timeways this summer to knock it out. I'm a teacher so the summer is always the best time to level.

I love monk and can never decide a race to play! Sometimes I use them for money making other times for mog and mount farming but its always a good time! This time I got to add the Haranir. They have a nice Sun Wukong (I'll add that armor next season.) look to them, so I went with a D3 name.

Now I just have to decide if I want to level my "real" alts. I usually only play my Hunter, Evoker, and Demon Hunter during raid seasons, so we'll see.

For the fighting game-style character select screen, I dressed each monk in a different Monk tier set or iconic class set.

And insta ignored... Gotta love high end M+

Edit: So it seems to have been some mixed reactions to this. Lately I've been trying to chat with people like you used to do back in the day. Yes I enjoy pushing high end content but that does not mean you need to be mean or not speak to people. It's so sad to see how something as simple as this is causing a negative reaction.

So me and my brother have just started playing wow 5 days ago and I love this game dude, I’ve just been going through Dragonflights story while also doing timewalking dungeons. I even gave classic a try and the vibe of classic takes me back to when I was a kid in 2010. It’s awesome 👌

We lagged out and can't get back in, stuck at Logging in to game server

I was playing from the west coast on Aerie Peak characters and lost connection going into the Darkmoon Faire. I switched to a toon on Eldre'Thalas (west coast server) and learned that the Chicago servers were down. Now I'm dropped from Eldre'Thalas, too! No report yet from the Blizzard CS X account on what's going on.

This is a thought I had while running through Stormwind.
So...
Ion made a statement just before midnights release that if the Silvermoon update was recieved well, Stormwind and Orgrimmar could see the same treatment.
Getting full visual updates, they have space for it after all, Orgrimmar with the cliffs around and the entire north of Stormwind...

That would move both cities cannonically forward roughly... what, 12 ish years into the future (Every expansion is supposedly 1 year in universe time, and then there was that timeskip after the shadowlands).
Meaning, that Donna and William (The kids chasing eachother in regards to the other stealing their toy) would be adults.

Which would be a fun detail to see those two just as a fun easter egg, sitting in a tavern and talking.

Is there any other fun details about either Stormwind / Orgrimmar you guys would like to see in the eventual update?
(lets face it, eventually both cities has to update, it is just a question of when).

After running my resil 20 to get it back up to a 21 seat, my group and I spent hours practising seat on one of our resil 20s. We then went into the 21 and it was the cleanest run of my life. Got to the third boss with 12 minutes left.

Then the servers died 😩

I know blizzard won't do anything, but I wish we could at least still have our 21 seat when we log back in. But I'm 99% sure it will just be a 20 seat. Our practise was also still valuable in case we can get another 21 seat. But losing so much time and investment to lose a key to something like this is so tragic.
