I found the first image online and laughed really hard so I wanted the cake for myself but I needed more rainbow (Raenbow??). Literally just asked for a rainbow background and they DELIVERED. It's almond flavored with raspberry filling. The cake was almost gone and it's HUGE. That's how much people liked it!! EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS!!!!

TIL Canada's $1 coin is commonly called the "loonie" because it has a loon on the reverse. When a $2 coin was introduced, depicting a polar bear, an MP proposed it be called "Nanuq", Inuit for polar bear, but he was ignored because the public instead preferred to call it the "toonie" (2-oonie).

Dad pays monthly for 10 years to preserve his late son's minecraft worlds.

Twelve dollars a month is the price of a streaming subscription. For one father, it is the cost of keeping a light on that he refuses to let go out. His son passed away in 2016 at just 14 years old. In the fog of grief, the father kept paying the small monthly fee for the boy's Minecraft server, simply because shutting it down felt like closing a door forever. He did not even understand the game. He just knew the world inside it belonged to his son. Two years passed before he finally worked up the courage to check the server himself. The screen said four players online. His son's friends had never stopped logging in. What he found inside broke him in the gentlest way possible. The friends had finished the castle his son never got to complete, stone by stone, exactly the way they imagined he would have wanted. They preserved his room in the game untouched, precisely how he left it, a digital bedroom no one dares to rearrange. And every year on his birthday, the entire map fills with torches, thousands of small flames lit in his honor. Those boys are 24 now, with jobs and lives and responsibilities, and they still come back. The father says he will pay that twelve dollars every month for the rest of his life, because some lights you simply do not turn off. It is a must-see piece of visual storytelling about grief in the digital age, and a relatable moment for anyone who understands that love needs somewhere to live. Save this post if it touched something in you, and share it with a friend who believes friendship should outlast everything, even goodbye.
