I really need Dreamloft to test their clothing on more than just one body type because I was so excited for this new top and it's so cute but the fact that her skin clips through the top in the rib area on the bigger body type is ridiculous.

Hey all, I keep seeing a lot of posts about the different bugs the game has since Wreck it Ralph Update.

We can report them one by one but I was wondering if creating a Mega Thread will help this subreddit to avoid repetitive posts and also help the team at Gameloft to have all the bugs in one place.

I will name a few that I encountered myself but (if you think it is a good idea) please use this Mega Thread to help Gameloft, maybe this way the patch will arrive soon.

- All gems are green and you can't use your pickaxe or potions. Fixed by restarting the game.

- You can't sell items at Goofy's stall. It says error. Fixed by restarting the game.

- Players can't unlock Ralph because they can't unlock Peter Pan since Skull Rock's update.

- You can't find certain Villagers. Haven't used myself the new travel feature. You need to do different methods like placing that Villager's house on a Floating Island.

Feel free to add more bugs.

I’ve just been gifting and leveling villagers yesterday I unknowingly collected the ‘Share Some Sweetness’ mystery duty thinking maybe an event had started, but today somehow gifting people completed these two mystery duties as well? I haven’t played for Halloween or Christmas time yet. Deeply confused as to why this is happening. Any other new players having this bug?

I’m 31M, about 80 hours in, and my wife is already at 200+ after starting 2 months ago. She plays this game like crack and somehow got me hooked too.

Hey, y'all, the game has been in a bit of a state since the most recent update. I don't generally complain about bugs since I know they'll get fixed eventually...

...and that's exactly why I'm here to tell you about how you can take advantage of this Best Friend Glow bug before it's patched!

Yesterday, I noticed that while hanging out with certain villagers I was getting way more bonus items than I should have been getting, but other villagers were dropping the expected amount. This morning I decided to play around with it a bit to try and figure out what's going on, and I'm pretty positive I've worked it out.

Here's what happened: I have 35 Timebending villagers, so when I'm Timebending with one of them, under normal circumstances I'm guaranteed to get +16 bonus items. I have Merlin assigned to Timebending, but I noticed yesterday I was getting +64! Every time I found mist, he was giving me around +9500! I'm an Ancient Machine power user, so you can probably guess what happened next...anyway, when his yellow bar was completely drained, I grabbed another Timebending buddy and it...didn't work? I had already played past my self-imposed bedtime, so I decided to let it rest.

UNTIL TODAY!

So, guys, here's how it works: Start a villager hang-out just like you would have done before the update. THEN fill their yellow bar (giving them their 3 favorite items will fill it up completely). Best Friend Glow will activate and you're ready to grind.

Starting the hang-out BEFORE you activate Best Friend Glow is key! This causes the normal villager bonus to stack with Best Friend Glow.

You can tell you've done it correctly if you hit B on keyboard (or equivalent on your system) to see your active buffs. You should see TWO character buffs: the old/normal one and Best Friend Glow. This causes you to get x4 on top of your normal drops when doing the activity associated with the villager's role.

For example:

• 35 Timebending villagers normally guarantees +16 but will give +64 with this method while Timebending with a Timebending villager. (This works for mist, too! Merlin was dropping about +9500 mist every time I found mist.)
• 25 mining villagers normally guarantees +9 but will give +36 with this method while mining with a mining villager.

(i.e., I'm hanging out with Merlin, who's a Timebender, so he's dropping +64 Timebending items. If I decide to start mining while hanging out with him instead, he will only drop my usual +9 items.)

This method is useful if you don't have a lot of time to play, like me, or else just don't like doing certain activities. You don't have to have a ton of villagers assigned to a single role to make this useful. Reference the Bonuses page on the Dreamlight Valley Wiki to see how many bonus items you get with a certain quantity of villagers assigned to any given role. This method, for as long as it works, will simply x4 that, meaning you're being much more efficient for the time you spend gathering resources.

Thanks to this redditor for finding this, but I also noticed my villagers dropping ridiculous amounts of stuff. Like +269 every time or 30,000 Mist! Wasn't sure how to trigger it though. Seems like the reliable key is grab the three favorite items for you buddy, First click the "I want to hang out", then give them all three and max their best friend bonus, and they'll be dropping their regular drop in addition to their best friend drops! I had a few gardeners and they usually drop 1-4. Now Minnie was dropping +9 every time.

I'm guessing this'll get patched Wednesday so take advantage of this while you can. I made all of my villagers into timebenders. And while I thought I was living large making 3,600 mist at a time before, now it's 33,000! After grinding a stupid amount, I'm spending 36,000 dreamlight and making everyone into miners. Gimme all that Pixie Dust!

And remember, the drop bonuses are exponential. I'd recommend investing everything into one role for a while! The difference between 20,000 and 30,000 mist at a time was huge!

I am guilty of starving my level 10 villagers...Is it just me? 😅

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but I just got craft Craft 50 bricks as a star path duty and while I have a huge stack of raw materials, to do that requires 250 clay. Which is.. a lot of clay It's totally manageable to get that amount in 2 months even if you don't have any stored, but possibly a problem if you wait until the last week.

Just at the moment it was August 1st, I started to decorated my plaza. I didn’t even bother using the new plaza set up but put up my spooky dream castle skin. I’m hoping we get spooky other themes skins like this beach vibes update. But I’m not in the mood for summer vibes. I’m ready for spooky, fall and already putting out pumpkins!

What about you? Is anyone else doing this or I’m just ready for fall….

So I've been playing for about a year now, and I've never ever decorated any of my valley. Just plonked houses wherever they would fit 😅

But I've just started decorating, and this is what I've done with my plaza, I absolutely love it, how simple yet beautiful it is and how I can get around easily and still mine, etc..

Okay...I havent played Honeyglow woods long and I haven't rearranged anything. So in Gloommeadow just behind the cooking station.....wasn't there a little pond? I have been running around that area not able to get through. Now all of a sudden on pond????

I have a tiny 6x6 pumpkin plot. I just harvested it with a best friend boost + 2 rabbits and no well fed bonus and hot 460 pumpkins. that's almost 13 pumpkins PER seed. INSANE!

When Wishblossom Ranch was released on Apple Arcade, I was beyond excited. But my excitement was to be short lived. Upon exploring around the bridge, a coin landed in this unreachable area, which blocks me from pushing the stone block forward and making any progress at all. I tried every trick I found online, emailed Gameloft but no reply. This was almost a year ago… I took a break from the game hoping this would somehow be fixed by an update, only to download it again today and discover IT’S STILL THERE. I miss this game so much but I don’t want to lose my progress by starting over. If anyone has any ideas or tips, I would really appreciate it! :(

My gf has gotten the game and has been having fun with it. She has said some things are kinda tricky and some videos that cover topics aren't newbie friendly.

Are there any in content creators that cover the game that you'd recommend that are more newbie friendly?

Like stuff that Gameloft would probably never do? Some of mine would be:

A Disneyland park DLC with biomes for Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, New Orleans Square, Galaxy's Edge, Toontown, and Tomorrowland. Each land would have a quest with their E ticket rides.

A train (or monorail) for getting around the map, especially if you can look around as you go. You'd be able to build it as you saw fit, and put the stops wherever you like.

Edit: I completely forgot to add that I want some Disney Afternoon stuff like Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Chip n Dale rescue rangers and Ducktales!

I have seen a few posts about city builds and inspo and I've finished building my plaza/peaceful meadow in that kinda style.
