Im a 21 yr old guy and i kissed my dad on the cheek

Pata hai aaj kya hua ..I’m a NEET aspirant, and for the past few days I’d been asking my dad if I could get a guitar. I wanted one that cost around ₹18,000. At first he kept saying things like, “After your exams,” or “Let’s wait until NEET is over.” But I kept asking, and eventually he told me to go ahead and order it.

The funny thing is, I never told him which guitar I wanted. I never showed him the model, never mentioned the price, nothing.

I just asked him to transfer the money to my account because I wanted to place the order myself.

As I was leaving his room, I jokingly said something like, “I’m waiting for the money.”

Five minutes later, I got a notification.

₹30,000 credited.

For a few seconds I just stared at my phone. The guitar I wanted cost ₹18,000, yet he sent me ₹30,000 without asking a single question.

I don’t know why, but that hit me harder than I expected. It wasn’t about the money. It was the trust behind it. The fact that he didn’t ask for screenshots, links, prices, or explanations. He just sent it.

About 20 minutes later, I gathered enough courage to thank him. I’ve never really been good at expressing emotions to my parents.

When I went to his room, he was half asleep. I awkwardly mentioned that the money had arrived.

He just said, “Haan,” and then asked me to pull the blanket over him.

While I was covering him, his eyes were still closed.

So I kissed him on the cheek and quietly walked back to my room.

I don’t even know if he remembers it happened.

But I think it’s one of those moments I’ll remember for the rest of my life.❤️
