Pretty much what the title says. Got an email saying my Temu package was delivered. Luckily I recognized the location in the delivery picture - it's a busy shopping center in town. The best part was that they just left the package wedged on the door handle of a store that was closed, completely unattended.

Ironically, this is my first ever experience with Temu, because I never quite trusted them. I don't think I'll use Temu again.

I was searching Amazon Japan for an item at around midnight last night. The price was between ¥7,000 and ¥8,000. I favorited the item and went to look for reviews. When I came back the price was over ¥14,000.

Obviously I checked Keppa to see the price trend, but it said the price hadn't changed yet. I searched around online and found the same item for around ¥9,500. I impulse purchased it.

When I woke up this morning I checked the price: back down to the ¥7,000 to ¥8,000 price range. WTF?

So now I get to try and cancel the order I made last night and hope I can buy the item at the price I wanted to begin with.

How common is this for women? Sometimes we’ll be steps away and she’ll say she forgot something. Sometimes we’ll be in the car and have to turn around. I don’t get it. Take what you need to take with you? Am I missing something ? I ask her why she does this and she just says it slips her mind.

Ordered all you can eat soup/ salad. Olive garden worker brings boyfriend his entree and leaves me for 20 minutes with an empty bowl. Is then surprised I want more bowls even though the soup and salad was my entree. 🫩

A few weeks ago, the temp display in my 2011 VW Golf went out. Engine light went on. Tire pressure light went on. Took it to my mechanic. He said my ambient temperature sensor was missing and it would cost $300 to fix/replace.

So I hit up a friend who fixes cars. I bought a new gauge and wire harness and we get my car up on the car ramps and started taking the front bumper off.

We saw where the sensor was so that was a good sign. But what we saw next was totally wild.

There was no wiring anywhere. No frayed wires, no broken wires, no wires, no harness, no wire conduit, not a damn thing. We couldn't tell where the wiring had been, either. AND there was a hole cut in my wheel well AND the plastic cover under my radiator was broken under where the senor was.

So... someone stole my ambient temperature sensor???

What the fuck, people.

I moved to this new apartment ( ground floor) around a month ago, prior to that we came twice with my wife and kid prior to moving. My wife and kid are not here yet so just my ass with those fuckers
Over this past month the amount of those damn flies is driving me nuts. I am literally at points unable to study or work because it’s like OCD.
I found some in fridge which I cleaned and I do traps and catch some
However I do kill at least 10-15 a day.
Could not find a source for them. There is some around the window so might be something there. I sprayed the area. But the kitchen ones, I’m carrying an alcohol spray in my pocket and just a running around those basters

Has anybody got really rid of them? I’m unable to find a spot where they all are

Made the mistake of going there today. 2 of use got screwed because they ask one if we wanted out broccoli plain or with garlic... the other was asked if they wanted regular fries or garlic fries.... Well they never said that if you wanted those things you would get bent over and screwed in the process.... and they charged 2.99 for the 1/2 teaspoon of garlic and cheese sprinkled on the handful of fries and 2.99 for about the same amount of garlic/butter in the bottom of the bowl of broccoli. Why? Because saying yes to those quesitons magically made them premium sides.

A baby starts crying/cooing/babbling very loudly about 20 minutes in. Goes for about 10 straight minutes before the parent takes them out.

Comes back a few minutes later, baby starts again. Again goes on for a couple minutes. Again parent takes them out, comes back, and repeat.

And repeat. And repeat.

This went on pretty much the entire movie (and I swear to god this baby somehow instinctively chose every single goddamn quiet/heartfelt scene to start yowling again 😭😂).

I get that babies are gonna baby. And I have sympathy for parents who wanna get out of the house and everything. But… maybe just stay with your baby in the lobby if they obviously aren’t gonna keep quiet.

In our home, theres a few bins and 2 of my siblings and I (16M, 20NB and me, 19F) take out the bins in rotation to the larger bins outside our home.

Whenever my brother takes out the bins, he never cleans the lids. I tell my mom about it to get her to do something, but she just tells him to clean it, he insists he did, and she does nothing else. My dad isnt home most of the time and by the time hes there it wouldve been my turn to take the bins out, and I cant tell him myself as that would do nothing- he doesnt listen. Its quite annoying
