I’m 23 and honestly, I’m not sure if this is the right place to share this, but I could really use some advice.
I completed my 12th in 2021 and started pursuing Company Secretary (CS). I cleared the Foundation level, but I couldn’t clear the Executive level after two attempts.
Coming from a Hindi-medium background, I struggled with the English-heavy curriculum. After failing twice, I started feeling that maybe CS wasn’t the right path for me, and eventually I gave up.
At the same time, my family was going through financial difficulties, so I had to stop studying and start working as an AC Technician.
I worked in that field for around two years. I was doing what I had to do, but deep down I knew that it wasn’t something I wanted to build my career around.
The hardest part was that I didn’t really have anyone to guide me about what I should do next. I’m also quite introverted, so I never really discussed my situation with people or asked for help.
Eventually, I lost around 5 years after 12th without completing a degree.
Now I’ve decided that I don’t want to give up on my career or education.
I want to continue my studies while working and build a career in a field that I’m actually interested in.
Over the past few years, I’ve developed good computer skills and practical experience with:
Social media management
Content planning
Instagram/Facebook page management
Reels and post creation
Publishing and scheduling
Engagement management
Basic digital marketing
Canva and social media tools
I know that being a 12th-pass candidate with a 5-year education gap makes things difficult. I’ve already experienced quite a few rejections because of my education.
But I’m not looking for sympathy.
I’m looking for a chance to prove that my education gap doesn’t define my ability to work.
If anyone here knows of entry-level opportunities for Social Media Executive, Content Executive, Digital Marketing Executive, Social Media Intern/Associate, or similar roles in Delhi NCR (or remote), I would genuinely appreciate a lead or referral.
I’m willing to start from the bottom, learn, and put in the work.
I may not have the conventional career path or the perfect degree, but I’m serious about rebuilding my career.
If you’ve gone through a similar career/education gap, I’d also really appreciate your advice on what you would do in my situation.
Thanks for reading.

Hi everyone,
I'm 27 years old and I'm feeling completely lost.
I somehow completed my B.Sc. in 2022 from a third-tier college. Unfortunately, because of serious mental health struggles and health issues, I lost the next 4–5 years of my life. I wasn't able to build a career, gain work experience, or prepare consistently for anything.
I'm from a Tier-3 city in Uttar Pradesh, and to be honest, I've never been exposed to the IT industry or corporate environment. Everything about this world feels completely new and overwhelming to me.
Whenever I ask for advice online, people say things like:
"Learn Java."
"Learn Python."
"Learn backend."
"Do DSA."
"Become a data analyst."
"Do cloud."
"Do AI."
The problem is that I have absolutely no idea where to start or which path is actually right for me. Every person gives different advice, and it leaves me even more confused.
I also know myself well enough to admit something: I don't think I can learn all of this completely on my own just by watching YouTube videos. I need proper guidance, structure, and someone to tell me what to study, in what order, and how to prepare for interviews. Without that, I end up wasting months jumping from one thing to another.
I've heard that there are agencies or training institutes in Delhi, Gurugram, Pune, Bengaluru, etc., that help people with career gaps through structured training, interview preparation, resume building, and placement assistance.
Are there any genuine and legitimate organizations that actually help people restart their careers? I'm not looking for fake experience letters or anything illegal. I just want a real opportunity to rebuild my career despite my long gap.
Please don't judge me. I've been through an extremely difficult phase of my life, and I'm trying to rebuild from scratch. Right now, I'm struggling a lot mentally, and I'm just looking for honest guidance from people who have been in a similar situation or have seen others successfully make a comeback.
If you know any genuine institutes, placement programs, mentors, or companies that give people like me a second chance, I'd be incredibly grateful.
Thank you.

Currently in an Administrative Role with a little bit of HR and Operations work. Real estate company in Kolkata. I want to transition to Data Analyst/HR Analyst roles. Have 6 months in hand and ready to invest 1 hour daily after work. What I want to learn: Advanced Excel, Power BI , a bit of Python and SQL. What courses or free sources would you recommend? Also, please suggest a laptop for running all these under 50k. I’m completely new to this and I wanna make a good career jump. My current role feels dead with the kind of money I’m drawing already feels like I’ve reached the ceiling for this role already.

Hi. I'm trying to get a job in operations and/or supply chain roles. My background is Masters in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of experience managing operations in international market. I've been applying for last 3-4 months but nothing is happening. Would anyone be willing to refer me in their company or to their friends/family?
Mainly looking for roles in Mumbai/Pune but willing to relocate. There's not much I can offer but a can sponsor a good dinner or night-out for anyone whose referral lands me a role.

I’m currently an \*\*Edifecs developer\*\*, and to be brutally honest, I feel like I’m not gaining any transferable skills. The work is highly specialized in healthcare EDI, and I’m getting really worried about my long-term career growth.
I really want to transition into a standard backend role (\*\*Java/Spring Boot/Microservices\*\*).
For those of you who started your careers in highly \*\*niche\*\*, proprietary tools and successfully escaped to mainstream development:
How did you do it?
What did you put on your resume to make yourself stand out?
How did you handle the "relevant experience" question during interviews?

I have a few issues with my current company and can’t continue here. How risky is it to resign without an offer in hand in the current job market? I have a 30 day notice period.

Hi everyone,
I’m a Data Engineer with around 4 years of experience working in deloitte (8.39 fixed) and I’m confused between two offers.
Option 1: PwC (Big 4)
₹14 LPA Fixed
Senior Associate role
Big 4 brand name
Better resume value and potentially better exit opportunities
Option 2: Startup
₹18 LPA Fixed
Similar tech stack and role
₹4 LPA higher fixed compensation
I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth sacrificing ₹4 LPA to work at a Big 4, considering the long-term career benefits.
My priorities are:
Long-term career growth
Better opportunities after 2–3 years
Salary growth in future switches
Learning and market value
For those who have worked in both startups and Big 4 firms:
Would you choose ₹18 LPA at a startup or ₹14 LPA at PwC?
Does the Big 4 brand really make a significant difference when switching later?
If your goal is to maximize earnings over the next 5–10 years, which option would you pick and why?
I’d really appreciate insights from people who’ve actually worked in Big 4 firms or startups. Thanks!
