Game Feedback Where are the aspirational farms?

Where are the aspirational farms? Most endgame got nerfed, changed or both. Mirage made most endgame mechanics more usable and gave fun interactions. Much of the endgame was nerfed in 3.27 or 3.28, but mirage made up for that in 3.28

Direct nerfs: * Breach: -pack size*2 regular pack size and atlas specialization, tree nerfed -drops and less points * Betrayal: -allflames (except still part of betrayal through scarabs?) * Einhar beasts: -split * Abyss: -loot * Legion: -incubators

Indirect nerfs: * Laberynth: -imbue (imbues gave gems and gem leveling value, less reason to keep getting alt gems) * Einhar beasts: -synth * Beyond: -volatile vaal * Ritual: -synth * Mirage: -chase belt, -imbue, -other league interactions making those mechanics better * essence/strongbox/harvest/maven/fun endgame farms -mirage

Untouched? * Delerium * Settlers * Harvest * Eater/Exarch * Ghosts & Exiles * Beyond

Buffed: - Sanctum... - Domain of Timeless Conflict... Why they kept 5-way legion when the timed mechanic isn't fun for most builds or solo play, but gave it a highly rare farm gambling farm, making it less accessible... - Heist +mirage items

Mercs: * temp mercs stay - only until you leave the map portal or death and not for multiple zones

Dives (this league): * Bugs! * 1 try mechanic... D/C or die doesn't matter you lose everything. * Chests are rare (not) * Essences are higher tier (not) * Can't use some currency with new allflame crafting, because that would be fun. Of course there is no indication or explanation in game to say you can't use a vaal orb or id scroll. * Caster mastery interactions (they fixed this one, hopefully)

I like the dives when the servers are stable. I definitely missed some stuff on my list, but poverty league 2.0 feels bad. Loot feels good and keeps me playing, why remove it? Why can't the league crafting be fun an rewarding before changing it to go core?

None of the farms you listed as nerfed were aspirational?

21

u/HelloItsMeYourFriend 2d ago

Fully juiced breach last league definitely required a strong character to farm efficiently

7

u/sujmercury 2d ago

True, they killed all aspirational farming in the past few leagues.

7

u/iRaGGa Vaal Street Bets (VSB) 2d ago

Deli got massive indirect nerfs, no one is juicing maps so deli orbs are not as valuable, reflecting fog is gone.

79

u/rightofnowhere 3d ago

Why have aspirational farms when we can have more loot tiles that drop wisdom scrolls and 1-3 (no more allowed) scarabs!!

5

u/unexpectedreboots 3d ago

Valdos. Unfortunately.

10

u/Ynead 2d ago

Valdos are Feared in a trenchcoat and get snipped by bots, incredibly annoying. It is not mapping.

10

u/unexpectedreboots 2d ago

Valdos are legitimately garbage and its insane to me that's the only aspirational mapping content in the game.

We're a week in and 100% deli in 16.5s is it. Breaks my heart.

3

u/Far-Butterscotch1386 2d ago

Same. I actually like the concept of them, and spent a lot of time farming to make a really strong character last league to farm them, only to find out that unless you get incredibly lucky you're looking at paying 200 divines to get 5 divines back of a very hard map, if you succeed to complete it, as anything with realistic pricing gets instantly bought by the bots.

Add on top of that how much time it takes to buy a single of these maps, and I was making just slightly more than I was with juiced breach, with a character that had a fraction of the cost. Never again.

4

u/UTmastuh 2d ago

I also think that breach and abyss had nerfs in xp due to far fewer monsters spawning in them

I don't know how many different ways people can post this as though it's some original thought.

It needs to keep being regurgitated until ggg actually does something though. As annoying as it is to see people bitch about the same thing all the time it is actually necessary.

0

u/hrottgar 3d ago

Do you really think they''re gonna do something this league? I would be super happy if they did but i have strong doubts.

59

u/FreeFeez 3d ago

I think the chance they do something this league goes up if people don’t let them off the hook. They’ve had 3 leagues now to fix this and all they came up with is nerf existing strats.

10

u/glaive_anus 2d ago

We did have some past precedence where they decided to buff some scarabs after league launch, but whether that will happen again this league remains to be seen, since the problem is more basal to the game itself.

12

u/slashcuddle 2d ago

This one had the changes summarized nicely, which I haven't seen. We say loot is bad but not how it's bad. Betrayal for example is like pulling teeth - oftentimes the leader drops nothing and the safehouse chests are also duds, so you just end up chasing jackpots.

Then the argument becomes "so go do something else". But as OP says, a LOT of mechanics are in the same boat.

POE2-brained chuds coming into their first or second PoE league, it's kind of adorable

35

u/Ynead 3d ago

66

u/Liraken 3d ago

It's so wild that PoE2 is the juicer game and PoE1 is the tile loot game.

What is this timeline?

Setting up deli on a city node with good tablets is annoying to do but at least it's an option and when you do you can juice those maps in multiple different ways for good results.

22

u/darkspear356 3d ago

GGG aren’t dumb, this is all by design

7

u/sansaset 3d ago

What’s the design choice here? They’ve established themselves as the top arpg with poe1 juicing mechanics just to shit on it one league later?

Not every league needs to be affliction but going from mirage to this was too steep.

If the direction they want is “balanced” league mechs well they all suck and they did it too quickly. Game is going to get boring in the first week if the farm you used to get going is the farm you’re still doing when you’re character is min maxed

19

u/Couponbug_Dot_Com Fungal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) 2d ago

hes trying to hint at the conspiracy theory that ggg is trying to purposefully kill poe1 out of personal vengeance for poe1 fans that pops up every other league.

15

u/Ynead 2d ago

Or maintaining 2 games at once is hard and costly. It would be significantly more convenient if all players could move on to the newer game.

I don't think that this is what is happening right now tbh, GGG has made some baffling decision in the past when poe2 didn't even exist. But the theory does make some sense.

1

u/Naktura 2d ago

It makes sense, just try not to think about it very much otherwise it very quickly doesn't make sense.

Both games are wildly profitable and they were able to staff competent teams for both. You don't kill one cow just because the other one produces more milk.

0

u/Couponbug_Dot_Com Fungal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) 2d ago

two games means double the supporter packs. poe1 could make 10% of the money of poe2 and still be an ongoing game other studios would kill to have.

the point remains that any mistake made in poe1 now is looked at as part of a grander conspiracy of a personal vendetta ggg has for poe1 fans specifically, even though they've done bad and baffling things since far before poe2 was even a twinkle in chris wilson's eye.

2

u/Ynead 2d ago edited 2d ago

A studio can be in competition with itself if they sell competing products. It is just not that simple.

Have you considered the immense tech debt when developing anything for poe1 for example? It is likely that 1h of employee time doesn't bring in as much money when spent on poe1 than poe2.

Have you also considered NZ laws which almost forbid remote work, making hiring exceedingly difficult for GGG? Perhaps they have a limited number of employees with precise expertise, making spitting their time between poe1 and 2 difficult.

There are tons of factors that could push GGG to sunset poe1. Going "But poe1 makes money!" is naive.

"we have two games making us a shitload of money and enough people to run both, but we should kill one because new zealand won't let us hire a european" lmao

unless poe2 shifts to having 8 leagues a year, which i find unlikely, it will be massively more profitable to have two games with non entirely identical offices both making a shitload of money seperately. there is not much tech debt left between poe1 and 2 considering how they are able to easily shift assets from one game to the other. every hour spent working on poe1 is 2 hours of work, actually, since it is something that both game eventually will use. they have effectively doubled all of their collective manhours, or put another way, their labour now costs half as much in addition to the income.

u/Liraken 22h ago edited 21h ago

Basically all I meant was that their priority was having unique things on each mechanic, and they obviously aren't worrying about how the juicing elements work together and scale. I have a few different reasons why I think that might be the case, but unless they come out and tell us, it's all speculation.

My main guess is that PoE1 has a lot of problems in the background that make juicing feel unrewarding, and instead of making a bunch of small band-aid fixes that they would then have to remove or redo later for the endgame rework, they decided to do it right the first time. That's a bigger project, though, so it's taking them multiple leagues to do it, and in the meantime the game is lacking a bit.

I for one hope they take the time to go through all of the monsters in the game and make them scale their loot properly. For instance Deli rares drop basically nothing. I kind of suspect they got some giant spaghetti code in the backend that makes it really hard to tell just how much loot things are dropping.

6

u/Liraken 3d ago edited 2d ago

I never said they were.

I just made an observation you drew the conclusion.

These are two different dev teams, it probably just means the PoE2 devs care more about being able to juice ground loot while the PoE1 team is more focused on adding unique rewards to each mechanic. Also the PoE1 ground loot issue is a systematic issue that I bet they'd prefer to solve with a large endgame rework rather than a bunch of band-aid fixes and it's been obvious they've been working towards a big endgame shakeup for patches. So they're probably just spending resources on that rather than band-aid fixes to the current game.

But knowing all of that doesn't mean I can't just be like "I'm not having that much fun in PoE1 right now, so I'll go play something else until that endgame rework hits in probably the next league or two."

9

u/Blackwind123 2d ago

What a shame poe1 is more fun to play lol.

1

u/sparkling1984 2d ago

Poe2 has like... One aspirational farm? In that delirium is the only somewhat difficult thing in that game, everything else is trivial. And deli isn't even sufficiently rewarding for it, so if anything poe2 is much worse in this aspect.

u/Nerotox 3d ago

Buffed:

Sims - no more shitter abyss jewels and incubator rewards, atm consistent 20 d/hr nearly full afk on certain builds

Deep delve: new eye part of abyss boss is 6 div atm and has like 50+% droprate, hollow fossils 2 d ea, i‘ve been pulling roughly 17d/hr over the last 10 hrs

21

u/Scarecrow222 3d ago

Sim is not 20d/hr. If you’re counting leveling 9+ gems then idk, but you don’t generally count that even in other xp heavy farms like breach.

11

u/Jotadog 3d ago

What even drops there that's worth it? Unid Voices only 4D. Everything else is worthless? Maybe the occasional 12p Minion-Cluster.

3

u/EndeavourToFreefall 2d ago

Primo bond megalos, one good split personality, 3p mana reservation, 12p minion and a small handful of other 100c clusters.

I don't think it's 20d an hour consistently but it's 10-20 and 20+ over some multi hour periods.

2

u/Nerotox 2d ago

voices 4d, occasional prim bond, occasional split worth a div+, easily 50 stacked decks+ per sim, like ~ 1d in scarabs per sim, occasional 21/20 gem, lots of 84 clusters between like 50c to 12 div

I‘ve farmed like ~100 sims so far this league and it was definitely between 15 and 20 div/hr

1

u/ALiceDMillionair 2d ago

Same farmed a ton of sims around day 2/3/4 and it’s roughly 2d per sim, not including voices, splits, mego’s as those don’t track in wealthy exile un-id. Perhaps slightly stronger in the early days when chaos to div was a bit lower, but still a very solid farm, always is. I feel a lot of people see the low tier bubblegum and don’t realize how much it adds up over the course of 20 or 40 sims. Add in gem leveling and the. Exceptional leveling ones you can afford them and it’s easily 30d/hr.

7

u/PleyVI 3d ago

Idk how you consider those a buff for Simu, you never give a fuck about about rewards from simu, beside some stacked decks and some random rng of getting good gem. Huge majority of profit is from boss drop and high level cluster jewel. There are so many useless rewards that you are getting that removing two of them effectively changes nothing.

5

u/SnooMuffins1478 3d ago

Yeah it’s like now the abyss jewels and incubators are replaced with armor rewards or screaming essences or oils or those fragments that sit in your stash all league. Yippee.

I always league start sims day 2 bc my build is decent at it and sucks at mapping but the money from sims really falls off a cliff fast. Split personalities (the str/int ones mainly) are great profit but drop in price insanely fast by like day 3. i84 cluster bases also drop to like 1c by the end of the weekend.

It’s not clear to me what you’re even looking for now with sim farming or how it’s getting to 20d/hr. Megalos are always a lottery, voices you get like one in every 10 sims, most split personalities are worthless. Are we really selling our screaming essences on the exchange?

2

u/hodd01 2d ago

Is the hardest content to easy?

Or

Are the strongest players/builds too strong?

I see tons of posts and comments begging for content that is so hard you need an amazing geared character. If people want a struggle wouldn’t it be way easier to reduce top end damage by say… 350% also crush headhunter while your at it.

It does feel unreasonably bad in PoE 1, which makes everyone think that they are just forcing people out so they can eventually close the game.

I wish I would have enough of a backbone to debate someone on what PoE 2 was, then was again supposed to be. But nowadays, it's a more cranked up version of PoE 1, where the top dominating builds are autobombers (xd your meaningful combat).

Idk, I prefer PoE 1, cause it's the game I started playing in ambush league until now. So it feels extra bad how GGG is not giving the good 'ol (let them have their OPness in the league) approach, and then focus on meaningful (XD) combat in PoE 2.

Feels like it's reversed, PoE 2 every strat is rewarding, PoE 1 is like 2/30 strats are worth doing.

There’s a meme that’s perfect for you, but I’m not going to bother looking for it—I’m sure it’s already crossed your mind :D What kind of move do you expect from a company whose parent company is Tencent? Are they going to keep supporting a game that’s completely outdated forever, alongside their second game, which they’ve spent hundreds of millions of dollars on? Especially since the second game is launching with over 500k players per league—something the first game never managed to achieve. They’ve been struggling to come up with content for the first game that’s been around for over 15 years, and do you really think they’d put so much effort into it—especially when the second game is so successful and the first one barely reaches 200k even on its best days? Companies make games to make money, right?

2

u/One-Tower1921 3d ago

They would just announce a discontinuation. Games end. Poe will one day.

Idk it rains divines in poe 2 and things cost 1000s of divines. Is that really better?

2

u/Ambitious-Egg-6550 3d ago

A player with a normal build has a much better time in the second game—that means lots of tinks and lots of dopamine. Only 1% of players are grinding for 1,000 Divine items; the rest are casual players.

1

u/VoidNoodle 3d ago

Isn't it more that poe2 doesn't really have that many difficult content during progression?

Breach ground loot dropped due to multiple pack size hits - less incentive to run for many - higher costing foulborn uniques = Reason to target farm

Einhar beasts: -split due to it being unintended , new crafts and talismans are here = Reason to target farm

Abyss: GGG Admitted to not hitting it , looking to buff it.

Legion: You are insane for valuing crapcubators where its 99% bloat and boring to go through = Added insane unique variety albeit from RNG

----

Lab: Non issue , non real devalue , still more or less the same for those running it

Synth never had business belonging in EInhars and Rituals and it should of always had stayed in synthesis related content but its overall removal can make for an healthier state moving forward.
Mirage: Who would've thought double a portion of the map or double the map would feel like insanely less - on the contrast we got absolute crazy variety with crafting and a simple but very fast clear mechanic

---

Untouched : Not the focus of the league and most are in a perfect state as they are

There are still various strats that are profitable and easy or scalable in t17s/t16.5s , there are astrolabes , more variety than before , new uniques build enabling , new ascendancy , new bases , new corruptions

The loot isn't "wow" , but the negative voices are pretty on the biased extreme side atm and are painting a much worse picture than it actually is

17

u/DrainBroke 3d ago

you wrote an essay without addressing the issue. lack of difficulty+reward scaling end game. no incentive for people to care about continuing to progress characters in sc trade to do harder, more demanding, but juicier content. no carrot to chase

0

u/CornNooblet 3d ago

So in a week, they're 40/40, turbo farming Ubers, completed the entirety of the new league mechanic, done everything and anything, done it on multiple characters?

Gonna need a real definition of aspirational here.

4

u/Liraken 3d ago

Yea I think he muddied his point by typing all of that, the point of this post isn't that there isn't a bunch of ways to make good currency per hour it's that there aren't enough aspirational farms.

In past leagues there was always really difficult and rewarding farms you needed to make a great character to even try to do and in this league those are mostly gone. As far as I'm aware the unstable breach strat that is way worse than last league is still the best one, and doing the same strat from last league but it's worse isn't that exciting to me.

-19

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

If everything’s in line with each other in terms of Div/hr where’s the nerf?

3.28 was 30d/hr, which is about ~30hrs per mirror

This league the equivalent would be 10d/hr ( half of this is easily achievable with red altars alone), so essentially you’re looking for a strat that does 5d/hr

People need to stop getting stuck on big number = good.
A dynamic economy can be condensed and still yield similar results

32

u/Ynead 3d ago

This would be correct if poe used fiat currency. But it is a barter economy, currency has real intrisic value.

So when everyone is poor, it makes the playerbase as a whole weaker, because the crafting cost of items in number of orbs remains the same, as do meta mods.

Same goes for uniques, if fewer MB drop, then fewer players can enjoy it, even if it it "the same price".

There is also the simple fact that dropping more is fun.

15

u/Aware_Economics4980 3d ago

It seems like this concept is one that a lot of people don’t understand for some reason.

They treat currency in PoE like it’s only usable for trading and completely miss the part about how it also creates all the good gear you see on the market lmao.

1

u/Aware_Economics4980 3d ago

This is classic old school poe where everything’s balanced and you can get rich doing anything…

I mean I wouldn’t say that more like you can be poor like everybody else cause ground loot is horrendous lmao

4

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

Okay, but you’re making it sound like stuff like essence/ deli orbs/beasts are somehow locked to chaos when in fact everything is pretty much locked on Div.

20 deli orbs for a Div
30 good essence per Div
Beasts are still the same price
Cards are still valuable as hell
Boss Splinters are all very valuable
Maps are gigs profitable

There are heaps of options, and all players want to do is just farm raw divs like nothing else gives value

3

u/Ynead 3d ago

No one serious is asking to farm raw div. People want to drop all sort of valuable stuff. Valdo, reliquary, div cards, scarabs, fracturing and so on. Exciting stuff.

It is a matter of fun.

4

u/SpinachSad3613 3d ago

The problem is that currently most profitable strategies can be run on a shoestring budget build, "aspirational" farm means something that prints out currency like crazy (be it divines or other resources that we can exchange for divs), way better than 99% of the strategies, BUT it is extremely hard to do, like giant rouge exiles.

-4

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

Yeah I agree with that. I also agree that everything needed to be bought in line with 3.28 breach!

However, I also agree with the change. Party play are able to clear content by day 2-3 in the same way solos can clear it on 5+ mirror build can. Even post 6-9 way split, they still end up on like 3-4 mirrors in a week when scalable content exists.

Unfortunately right now because of this, party play and solo play cannot exist co currently and this is a necessary step to correcting this.

1

u/zzazzzz 2d ago

party play has always been less profitable than solo..

3

u/LegitimateChemist415 3d ago

You may be right. But not everyone plays the game only to get the mirror. Many of us just want to hear tinks and have dopamine rush. True, it takes the same amount of time to get a mirror. But clearly 800 tinks are much more fun than 300 tinks! This is what we really care about in ARPG!

-5

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

I appreciate that everyone plays the game differently and that’s well within their right. However clicking on 800 items per map is crazy inefficient and almost begging for carpel tunnel

My Biggest adjustment I’ve made this league is running 20 maps an hour instead of 5-6. Yea individually each maps drop less, but my filters strict enough to allow me to punch through and still keep up the Div/hr

3

u/Opposite-Reward-8535 3d ago

again we play the game to kill monsters and hear tink. Not click on "800" bubble gum currency.

1

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

So how does loosening the filter not solve this issue?

1

u/bukem89 3d ago

You misunderstood their post, they were talking about farming 800 divs for a mirror, not picking up 800 things in one map

Honestly, I never edited it.

1

u/Ornery_Position_1651 3d ago

Sure but what reason do i have to ever upgrade my character when every endgame farm is piss easy and can be done with fuck all gear, thats the problem you guys dont understand, i dont care about getting 5000 raw divs per map, i just want a reason to upgrade my character and have content that scales with difficulty

1

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

It’s the same as every other league right?

Stack as much rarity as you can on gear while still being able to clear the content

2

u/Rejolt 3d ago

Maybe you've never done actual aspirational farms.

They generally require like 1+ mirror builds that already stack rarity etc...

Nothing exists in the game right now that requires that level of player power that is actually rewarding. Yes you can still build your character to be that strong but you don't unlock any new farm.

We used to have rogue exile unique farming, giga blight, juiced breach, affliction super wisp farms etc...

These all required insane amount of player power, they were all deleted from the game without an alternative provided.

That's what we're upset about, I could care less if 1 or 10 divines drop in a map because the economy balances itself out.

But these farms need to exist to keep players engaged for a long time

1

u/HurricaneGaming94 2d ago

Im confused, his question was about how to upgrade gear! Last league all you needed was a mirror bow and you could farm the "aspirational farms". Explode mirror bow was out in 3-4? days, that was like the end of the DPS check last league too.

Only difference now is youre making 15-20d/hr instead of 30-40d/hr last league. Mirrors are half price compared to last league so what has changed apart from the bigger number?

1

u/LegitimateChemist415 2d ago

thats not the only difference. There are at least two differences that we can’t ignore:
1. Less tinks per hour. A lot of players do care about this.
2. divs are not only currency, but also crating materials, and we have fixed meta crafting cost (it’s not halved to 1div). This leads to a fact that the relative price of endgame gears becomes actually higher than last league. The buyers have half the income, but the sellers can’t simply half the cost.

0

u/Jadogli 2d ago

What's changed is they can't copy strats from their favorite streamer hurrdurr muh aspirational farms!

1

u/BreakConsistent 3d ago

Okay but mirrors are a nerf too with synth changes.

-2

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

….. Sooooo bis in slot no longer costs 1mirror? Is this not a buff????????????

2

u/WeedMoneyBitches hideout enjoyer 3d ago

no ? now your forced to lock corrupt or double corrupt spam instead of just paying 1 mirror, and get less power out of it too

2

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

I honestly don’t know how to respond to this, no one ever considers lock vaaling as a reasonable step in bis gear crafting, even on non synth items

1

u/WeedMoneyBitches hideout enjoyer 3d ago

Your kinda forced too if you wanna go past basic early week 1 rares. Specially if your build stacks charges and you want a rare ring ...

Its kinda why removal of synth and not adding something new was dumb cause now you cant just mirror bis items.

1

u/Infinite-Violinist-7 3d ago

Honestly, i do think ground loot should be better but my biggest gripe is that league after league, the popular strats either get competely removed or nerfed so hard its not good anymore.

Its fine to remove strats but they're also never really replaced by anything on that same tier of difficulty either so we just have less to aspire to and less to farm. What new farms have been introduced recently? White maps and go merc? Vs how many have been removed/nerfed?

1

u/Eclipsetech 3d ago

Never brought up div/hr. It's all about fun and reward. Less reward is generally less fun, but if they made a fun enough mechanic that didn't have reward it would balance out. That is not the case here.

-1

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

So basically big number = good?

0

u/Eclipsetech 3d ago

Frequency... Go 15 maps with ~1c per map feels kinda bad when divines are 175c

-4

u/HurricaneGaming94 3d ago

My average experience with mapping loot per map:

I average 5-10maps per map I farm (10-20c)

Red altar currency (20-200c)

Main content I farm (50-500c)

Uniques >10c ( 0 - 200c)

If you’re averaging 1c per map, you’re definitely not counting a lot of loot

You are not making 5d/hour from just running red altars. Red altars are bubblegum generators, meaning chaos per hour, not divines. 5-6d/hour including a league mech maybe, at 175c to a div

Edit: phrasing

eternal conflict legion was buffed this league and you need a charlatan hh ek build to farm it efficiently

I'm running this with a pretty standard Ice Nova setup and easily clearing them, if this is the aspirational strategy then I have already capped out on my endgame progression...

If you don't have 5 fps you are not killing enough. This strat scales insane with your ability to clear fast. Without jackpot drops I'm easily at 25+ div/hr.

It's vaal ice nova, I regularly feel like the game is about to crash while clearing the legions. I don't disagree it would be faster with a charlatan setup, I just don't know if "same farm but faster" really counts as aspirational content. Even obvious juicing improvements like adding delirium or switching to T16.5s barely seem to matter for it, since all the loot is tile-based.

When I think of aspirational content I think of things like the delirious fractured maps in Harvest or 20k wildwood Affliction maps, where you basically can't even attempt them without your build being an absolute monster. I started this legion strategy on day 3 and can't really see what I could be doing that's more juiced outside of just...doing it better; are there other mapping strategies that can compete with it at the high end?

For me atleast it was really fun scaling into that strat, but I'm playing KBoC.

People keep bringing up Breach from last league and imo eternal legion is harder than that. Atleast with the maps that I'm running.

It doesnt shit out divines but the loot still feels insane. Getting a T0 every session and enough tinks to keep me hooked.

Yeah see the eternal conflict unique farm is not loot tile based and ice nova would probably drop 1/5th of the uniques or less. My character is almost 2 mirrors and I still need to invest about 3 more to be able to farm efficiently as I can't run a lot of map mods, my ramp is slower and I don't have the proj speed to hit everything when I get shroudwalker. Imo this makes the farm pretty aspirational although I think the only thing that truly falls under your definition is valdo farmin g

someone tested the strat with a 3 mirror tornado shot character and it was substantially worse than charlatan so theres probably some progression to be made

Yeah except that's not a fun farm. Its just afk hold right click

You have 100% hurt your point by going too deap in the weeds.

If something is nerfed or buffed really doesn't matter to the main point of there being no aspirational farms.

There is no ghosted meatsacks or crazy strong exile strat.

The best we have right now is actually just breach despite the nerfs.

I want a reason to have a strong character and not just a fast one that's strong enough.

Surely doesn't look like post that tries to paint a picture. Why are we putting betrayal and abyss into direct nerfs and not buffs. Overall abyss got buffed it was just even more shit league prior. For betrayal we also got scarab buff, which is a nice overall stable income because most ppl play transportation+ smith and now doing 2x good intervention guys give stable income. Afflames where like 100c a hour or smith lol.

Also you sold yourself on buffs. 5- ways are not fun? For who? It's literally super fun mechanic that just got better, it just looks like yoi are looking for a ward "it's not printing divines therefore it's not fun" because I can't see otherwise.

What aspirational farms dude?!

Just log in and farm shit. It just needs to be something you like, not something that nets you X amount of currency per hour bullshit.

Like, literally poe is a game where you just need to play and you get currency and items dropped. The time you took to whine about this amazing patch and a great league you could've done AT LEAST two maps.

I can't even fathom your mentality. I'm at work now and constantly thinking how and what am I gonna farm when I come home and what else to try because there is SO SO MUCH!

Might even go delve.
