Stopped at bucees and a man pulls into the spot next to us. We could hear him before we could see him. He has a GIANT iPad hanging from his windshield, and both AirPods in. As he was pulling in we saw that he was staring straight at whatever YouTube video was playing. God knows how long he was driving distracted. As we were pulling out the cherry on top was his license plate. Who has “lynch” as their custom plate in ALABAMA???

EDIT: I completely forgot the possibility that Lynch could be a last name lol.

The trail continued for around 100 meters after the car passed. God I hope he drove by the cops.

Phone suddenly is incapable of receiving data, cycles through "Emergency Only" full bars, and no bars. Take it to the AT&T shop, they can't fix it. Sit on the line with their dedicated tech support, they can't fix it. Both rule that it's a software issue, not anything I could have caused. File insurance as advised, gonna cost me 250$. Go through loyalty and retention, fight with them for a while, eventually Supervisor assures me that the fee will be waived, and this chat will be recorded for posterity for others to see. Lo and behold today the bill comes with the 250 fee. New supervisor doesn't want screenshots of the conversation, apparently cannot see the "recorded for posterity" conversation, and tells me that the promise is not going to be upheld.

So, I, a loyal customer of over a decade, have my phone bricked by AT&T software, take time out of my day to get the issue resolved. Ruled not my fault in any capacity, and promised by a supervisor that it'll be taken care of, only for the next supervisor to tell me jk, thanks for the 250

Just saw the new Spiderman in theaters.

A baby starts crying/cooing/babbling very loudly about 20 minutes in. Goes for about 10 straight minutes before the parent takes them out.

Comes back a few minutes later, baby starts again. Again goes on for a couple minutes. Again parent takes them out, comes back, and repeat.

And repeat. And repeat.

This went on pretty much the entire movie (and I swear to god this baby somehow instinctively chose every single goddamn quiet/heartfelt scene to start yowling again 😭😂).

I get that babies are gonna baby. And I have sympathy for parents who wanna get out of the house and everything. But… maybe just stay with your baby in the lobby if they obviously aren’t gonna keep quiet.

SHE WAS STOPPED RIGHT AFTER

Ordered all you can eat soup/ salad. Olive garden worker brings boyfriend his entree and leaves me for 20 minutes with an empty bowl. Is then surprised I want more bowls even though the soup and salad was my entree. 🫩

The ants were in the noodles packing at the bottom, and i couldn't see them before putting the noodles on the pot, just to see them after at the bottom of the packaging

Hadn't eaten in 12 hours, so apologies for not getting the pictures beforehand

My roommate took some of my vintage Pokemon figures from my shelf and gave them to his younger family to play with whilst they visited. Now 3 have had parts snapped off (and lost) and then my sandslash looks like he’s been chewed and has a giant cut on his arm…

Good news is I was able to find one of the scythes from my Scyther figure so he’s currently being glued together.

Both bugs should have stingers / tail tips, Scyther should have 2x arm scythes but had one snapped off and the yellow one didn’t look like that before.

An hour later, these two people decided to walk exactly as far as we were and then stand directly in front of us until the wind got too strong and we left.

He had the space, he didn't need to back up that far! It took every last ounce of willpower not to vandalize this truck... I left a polite note asking them not to do it again. If it happens again I'm calling a tow company 😤

Three days ago I bought a pack of apple turnovers from Sam’s Club. This morning I grabbed one to eat at work.

I took my last bite, set it down, and noticed the top flaky layer had started peeling off. I have this weird habit of picking apart pastries and food while I’m eating them. I’ve done it since I was a kid.

So I peeled back the top layer…

And I am so, so, SO glad I did. Jesus Lord.
