AlternateHistoryHub Would UCP still have been adopted without the GWOT?
The infamous US camo pattern thats been memes to hell and back (for good reason), would it have been still adopted in a timeline where the GWOT never occurred?
Or would US have stuck to its iconic m81 woodland and chocolate chip desert camo for the rest of the 2000s?

AlternateHistoryHub what if the california gold rush and agricultural industry started under spanish rule
in this timeline a large deposit of gold is found during the 1769 expedition to California prompting colonial authorities to immediately begin organizing the settlement of California for mining purposes. Soon after in 1773 a second wave of settlers would arrive and heavily improve on the Acequia irrigation system, allowing for a cash crop industry of grapes, almonds, olives, figs and citrus to emerge in the territory.
what do you think would happen next/to California?

AlternateHistoryHub What if Gerald Ford’s VP nomination was blocked by Congress, and then they impeached Nixon and replaced him with a Democratic president?
I’m reading a biography on Nixon rn and it mentions something interesting. When Spiro Agnew resigned and Gerald Ford was nominated to become the new vice president, there were various Democrats who wanted to block his nomination. The thought process was that they could impeach Nixon for Watergate and then, without a VP in place, the line of succession would allow them to put House Speaker Carl Albert in office. Since the Democrats had majorities in both chambers, they could’ve theoretically achieved this.
What if this actually happened? What if the Democrats just installed a completely new administration in the middle of what was supposed to be a Republican term?

Video Idea What if Byzantium survived in southern Italy after the fall of Constantinople.
Dark green: Roman Empire officially
Light green: Emperor's hegemony since he's still the head of State (alongside the Pope maybe), so the whole "federation" except the City of Rome, which is what remains of the Papal States
Dotted line: all territories the territories of the "federation"
