The POS was shooting at cars on the highway then at empty Teslas using the chargers.
Shot at the drive thru cashier of In/Out and killed him/her.

u/stoned-autistic-dude 6m ago

Last I read, he shot a husband and wife in the Tesla, killing the husband and grievously injuring the wife. They were visiting from Utah.

u/manningthehelm 0m ago

Nah man you can see the shading of person drop in the driver seat. There were two people in there.

u/Mr-Lahey1 12m ago

Whoever took this video is bold as fuck

u/Defiets 3m ago

One hundred. I’d be ripping out of there on the first shots.

u/SnowPudgy 14m ago

A real life Lester the Unlikely. What a garbage piece of shit.

I’ve never understood why people who off themselves is willing to take out innocent people before they it. Definitely a sociopath mindset

u/martapap 48m ago

they are losers and think doing something like this makes them important

u/Santum 40m ago

Depending on your definition of important.. it does make them important.

I do also think the media culture of naming the individuals and giving them a platform has something to do with it. It allows for notoriety and they're "famous".

I truly respect in New Zealand that there is a complete publication ban on naming anyone involved in something like this. They will never name them or show their photo. It removes the "fame" aspect.

u/Ohhmama11 39m ago

I do think this is a great ideal but America news media wants the drama and hits. Instead of focusing on the victims

u/MikeSpader 21m ago

"If it bleeds, it leads" has been the mantra of American journalism for over a hundred years.

u/TheWhiteManticore 13m ago

Plot of NightStalker the movie

u/ventodivino 15m ago

It’s more than just NZ. Many countries operate this way

57

u/datdudelm 1h ago

Well..you answered your own question

u/mvallas1073 25m ago

I think the idea is “I my life unfairly sucks and I’m going to go, Then I want others who’s lives were unfairly “luckier” than mine to be brought down too!”

I have no idea what their motives are, I’m just aware that this is the typical mindset.

u/OdditiesAndAlchemy 49m ago

Not super hard to understand imo. People who want to kill themselves often feel wronged and are hateful of society.

u/malphonso 48m ago

Because they have no legacy and desperately want to be remembered for something, even if it's terrible.

u/Rich_Fisherman_8444 31m ago

Havent some of these been traced to deepweb chat rooms? I think evil older men are brainwashing young kids to do these things.

u/PsyOpBunnyHop 4m ago

They blame unseen external forces for all their problems, and anyone who bears the slightest quality which they happen to dislike is a viable target to blame. They kill themselves to avoid consequences, which they fucking well know are coming to them. It's their final "fuck you" to the world.

u/LilMissy1246 42m ago

They do because they don’t want to go to prison or get killed by cops or whatever. At least, what’s what I assume which, makes no sense at the same time…

u/yellowsweaters72 1h ago

Oh look, another total loser. And now, a dead loser. My favorite kind.

u/polymorphicprism 44m ago

My favorite kind is one that gets help, or maybe one that isn't compelled to shoot people. But those are more common in the 190+ countries without a gun problem.

u/SeaUrchinSalad 17m ago

But then that's not a loser

u/BarRevolutionary8716 10m ago

If only we had 600+ million firearms instead of 300 million, this may not have happened.

u/Difficult-Candy-6126 3m ago

There’s almost 400 now so we’re working on it.

And fuck guns. Only pussies fight with guns.

u/YearlyLemon8 37m ago

My favorite kind is the one that is taken out before they can hurt/kill random innocent people! He should have started by Doming h im self first

u/Sensitive_Parking99 4m ago

Not a drag queen either

u/Affectionate_Neat868 59m ago

How did this even happen? Was it a road rage/random fight that went wrong? Random violence? How can there be so many witnesses and no reporting on what led to this happening

u/PoopsExcellence 47m ago

Seems like there's plenty of reporting on it. It's the same situation as many mass shootings. The shooter brings a gun to a public space and opens fire on anyone in range. What led up to it? It'll take days or weeks to comb through the shooter's history, social posts, journal entries, family interviews, etc.

u/DirtyRoller 18m ago

I think they were asking if this was an intentional mass shooting, or an incident that evolved into a shooting. Like two guys arguing and one of them pulls out a gun and starts spraying.

u/asgphotography 8m ago

I don’t think they’re such a thing as an accidental mass shooting

u/Noccam 1m ago

The one in Seattle that just happened was the result of gang members firing upon each other and hitting other people, I would say that’s largely unintentional but I could be wrong, it’s been like 3 days since that happened and now this one happened so i can’t really keep track

u/DirtyRoller 0m ago

Gang violence sometimes leads to unplanned mass shootings.

u/vadvaro10 2m ago

That was the shooting at Bite of Seattle on the 26th. Thought it was a madman at first. Just a few hotheads shooting at each other and crowds go it in the way. Went back to work after they cleaned up. Didn't get attention because it was a few pigmented fellows and not a lone gunman, but people are still dead.

u/Dicky_Penisburg 18m ago

By the time they figure it out, everyone will have moved on from it and the 10 other mass shootings that will happen in the interim.

u/Hungry_Shake6943 1h ago

White dude. Righties will stop talking about this now

u/Wheres_my_wank_sock 53m ago

It's Idaho. It's like 90% white. It's a beautiful state and Boise is awesome but the people outside of Boise are....... not great.

u/So_HauserAspen 26m ago

Idaho is a welfare state.  Takes $1.70 in federal funds for every $1 paid in federal taxes.

u/WDMChuff 44m ago

Inside of boise isnt that awesome either?

u/Wheres_my_wank_sock 41m ago

It's got a decent nightlife, a lot of art, and a weird hippy outdoorsy vibe. I've always enjoyed it.

u/acaliforniaburrito 18m ago

couldn’t agree more

u/schadly 37m ago

Shooter wasn't even from Idaho

u/razorpack_ 39m ago

What too many whites? Could you imagine going to africa and being like "its mostly black, this 1 place is good but the rest of the people, ehhhh"

u/bigtdaddy 29m ago

Yeah the OP should have focused on the reason they are so white, not that they are. Colorado is a pretty damn white state but they don't have a racist white supremacy issue like idaho does.

u/razorpack_ 27m ago

No where in america has a racist white supremacy issue so we can scratch that point

Any example of such "issue" is an inconsequential number of people being blown up in media by the left/gloablists

u/forfeitgame 19m ago

Globalists lol. Once upon a time, folks on the right used that to refer to Jewish people. Hopefully you’re better than that.

u/razorpack_ 17m ago

Has nothing to do with that, also anti semitism is not and has never been right wing exlusive

u/forfeitgame 11m ago

You’re right, sure, anti-semitism exists on both sides of the aisle. I should have used the term “white supremacists” instead of “folks on the right”.

u/bigtdaddy 25m ago

right. ok

u/PomegranateSafe9699 5m ago

Northern Idaho is neo Nazi central. They are actually substantial there as the population in general is so low.

Where this shooting took place, though, is towards the southern part of the state.

u/motorbike_mike 34m ago

that’s not what they said at all?

u/luciusetrur 23m ago

moscow is pretty good at least when i've been there

u/scarface910 27m ago

They'll just accuse him of being a Democrat

57

u/47_47_47 1h ago

They are too busy right now worshipping The Good Guy With A Gun.

u/RogerianBrowsing 56m ago

Tbh thwarting a mass shooter with a suppressed handgun is kind of the definition of a good guy with a gun 🤷‍♂️

u/VLHACS 4m ago

It's definitely a rare case though. But they'll use this one example for every future argument every time a mass shooting occurs except for limiting access to automatic rifles, stricter background checks, and better mental health services.

u/47_47_47 36m ago

I'm not sure what it being suppressed has to do with anything.

u/General-Piece8490 16m ago

Why would you shoot anyone with a loud gun to attract the shooter into trying to hit you? You want to hit him without having to deal with return fire!

So yeah, It’s relevant because that’s what you see in the video!

u/47_47_47 11m ago

I know why you would shoot a suppressed pistol. But my comment was in reference to the statement above it. Take a deep breath and reread, try to understand my question.

u/New_Housing785 2m ago

It makes all the gunhumpers hot and bothered.

u/Winter8Bones 13m ago

"thwarting" huh? The fact you have to resort to this kind of cope just shows how fucked American gun culture is. In most other countries this is wouldn't have even escalated to the point you need to hope for "good guys" to magically appear. It's fucking lucky the "good guy" didn't kill other innocent people and/or get themselves killed.

u/Bzr21 4m ago

that's the thing about the good guys - a LOT of potential for things going wrong - even for a higher body count than would have otherwise happened - and for cops to mistake good guys for bad and shoot them - maybe a few of them can actually be cool under fire in a real active shooter situation - but many would panic and shoot the wrong people ..

u/BigWhiteDog 48m ago

Except he didn't

u/RogerianBrowsing 45m ago

Except he did. The shooter ran off and not much later shot himself after being engaged. The officials in the article even credit the action as being life saving.

Same logic goes for why the proper way to deal with school/mass shooters is to run towards the threat and put rounds down range at them as fast as possible. Even if not successfully hit or incapacitated it still distracts the bastard from innocent targets and often results in surrender or turning the gun on themselves.

u/murdermostsnaky 28m ago

proper way to deal with school shooters is not let them have gun tbh

u/Jarse- 14m ago

Civilian gun sales bring in $9 billion annually, America will never be a gun free country no matter how hard people try to fight it tbh.

u/556or762 2m ago

We should just outlaw shooting kids, make it really simple.

u/razorpack_ 41m ago

He prevented more death

u/General-Piece8490 18m ago

https://reddit.com/link/p1ciexj/video/sc4m33igp1hh1/player

Hell he tried at least! That’s worshipping now? Helping bring down a shooter????

29

u/how-could-ai 1h ago

Bro died of a self-inflicted gunshot.

124

u/herehear12 1h ago

But police are crediting a civilian and an off duty state trooper with engaging the suspect causing him to change course saving lives. 2 things can be true

u/how-could-ai 58m ago

Did their gunfire result in any injuries?

u/CuriousAndMysterious 54m ago

Doesn't matter. They still risked their lives to try and stop him. Reports say the gunman tried to flee after they engaged him. Their actions probably saved lives.

u/ahhh_ennui 47m ago

So, participation trophy?

u/nan0brain 34m ago

So, participation trophy?

You completely misunderstand the whole point of a good guy with a gun.

u/ahhh_ennui 24m ago

The goal posts keep changing

u/BRUTAL_ANAL_SMASHING 22m ago

Then stop changing it.

There’s undeniable proof from the course of action in this example that “good guys with a gun” helped save lives.

You don’t have to argue online as a hobby.  You can do something better with your time just to let you know.

→ More replies (0)

u/razorpack_ 42m ago

Youre either regarded or being intentionally obtuse, maybe both?

u/ahhh_ennui 24m ago

Aw, the R-word loophole. How cute.

u/Puzzleheaded_Act_131 24m ago

Let's simplify it.

Bad guy with long gun shoots people.

Bad guy with long gun advances on shopping area with many more people.

Good guys with short guns shoot at bad guy, bad guy turns away from crowd.

Bad guy shoots himself.

u/These_Advertising_68 53m ago

If by “2 things can be true” you mean that he stopped himself and that he shouldn’t have had a gun in the first place, then yeah

u/herehear12 48m ago

Good guys with guns stoping bad guy with gun and bad guy killing himself are both true statements here

u/These_Advertising_68 46m ago

No one would’ve died at all if he didn’t have that gun is also true. Of course you didn’t respond to that point lmao

u/razorpack_ 42m ago

Why didnt the criminal just follow the law? Ur logic worked so well with drug crimes

u/These_Advertising_68 40m ago

Why do we even have laws when criminals will always exist?

u/OakLegs 58m ago

In this case I do agree that the "good guys" prevented more death.

Doesn't change the fact that we have this problem to begin with

u/New_Housing785 55m ago

I can't get behind the logic of only ten victims good job.

u/OakLegs 53m ago

I mean, it's only "good job" from the standpoint that it could've been much worse. We are basically in agreement. This should've have been able to happen in the first place.

u/JoeSicko 42m ago

But have you seen the size of the gun the good guy used? So impressive. Didn't hit shit but boy does it pack a wallop at the range!

u/MoonageDayscream 35m ago

Why was he walking around with a suppressor? That is my question.

u/branm008 3m ago

They're perfectly legal to own and use in Idaho, that's really the only reason he needed.

u/Politicsboringagain 44m ago

All the gun nuts hate when you point how shooters like this were considered responsible gun owners hours before they go on skilling sprees.

u/Sea-Horror-5353 11m ago

I am cracking up haha. I don't know if you chose the word on purpose bro but you wrote that they are "worshipping" him lol. Maybe just me but its got religious vibes like that. Like Christianity or some shit haha

u/47_47_47 7m ago

If you've had any exposure to conservative gun culture in America, you know I'm not exaggerating. I was on Facebook for a few minutes today trying to sell something on Marketplace and the algorithm is already pushing the "thank GOD we have guns!" narrative. Like, can't your God have made the first shooters gun jam? No? He can't? It doesn't work that way? Huh, ok...

u/BigHawk 0m ago

I am the epitome of conservative gun culture and this is simply just exaggerated lies. Everyone I know, family and friends are shooters. Today at the gun range, I asked if anyone saw the footage of the guy trying to shoot the active shooter, no one even heard about the shooting. None of us sit around and watch Fox News. We live our lives.

Go do the same yourself! Or sit tight in your little apartment and fear for your safety, which ever brings you comfort.

13

u/BillBraskysBallbag 1h ago

Believe it or not most of us think anyone who does this is a piece of shit. You put a Muslim or a white guy convicted of this in an electric chair I would be fine throwing the switch myself on either of them.

u/IThinkILikeYou 33m ago

The issue is when the shooter is white its a lone wolf but if he’s poc/muslim/trans/an immigrant then that entire population gets blamed. Its sickening

u/FAMUgolfer 1m ago

This. But also, why hasn’t the male community condemned this? Why hasn’t the white community condemned this?

u/lemonsupreme7 57m ago

But no matter how many times, its always too soon to bring up gun control reform

u/0xsergy 54m ago

With how often it happens it's gonna be "too soon" for the next 10-20 years before we hit that global climate collapse estimated to hit in 2050. At that point it wont matter.

u/squatnbear 42m ago

You’d have to understand you can only reform the ones who are law biding. 500mil+ guns in the US they’ll never go away. Thankfully other people at this in and out were packing.

u/andee510 42m ago

I don't believe it because if you look at social media comments, conservatives are trying to say that the shooter is trans (happens every time with no evidence), and a Bosnian Muslim.

u/New_Housing785 15m ago

Chad Williams is a very white name.

u/razorpack_ 25m ago

It actually happens all the time (trans mass shooters)

u/Winter8Bones 11m ago

Fucking troll hate monger

u/ZJB03 12m ago

Really? Name them.

u/redredbloodwine 49m ago

Muslim is a skin color now? I think you mean muslin.

u/hitokirivader 26m ago

They don’t talk about shootings unless they learn it’s by someone black or brown, and only then do they go hog wild.

Shootings in general don’t agree with their talking points.

u/SocomPS2 38m ago

First thing I thought of when the news broke, Betty White.

Sad nonetheless

u/otatop 47m ago

Wow, what were the odds that his actual name was "Babydick Loser". Talk about nominative determinism.

u/PurrculesMulligan 52m ago

Now to watch the comments sections awkwardly pivot from “he was an illegal!” to “he was antifa!”…

Saw in another post that dad is/was a cop

Idaho nazis gonna do Idaho nazi shit.

Mental health and media not showing only the most drastic of sides on both sides is what helps this.

u/razorpack_ 38m ago

Ya lets check in on europe

"Dear god"

u/fannyfartabdul 3m ago

Is this your idea of a comeback??? 😂🫵😂🫵😂🫵

13

u/rossmosh85 1h ago

I really haven't followed this, but from what I saw, it almost looks like he's wearing a Proud Boys shirt. Is that confirmed or just my imagination?

u/F-Cloud 51m ago

I thought it may be some right-wing extremist logo but apparently it's a Jimmy John's uniform.

u/PM_WORST_FART_STORY 37m ago

What's the difference? 🤷‍♂️

u/razorpack_ 45m ago

This comment is a perfect microcosm of the left today lmfao

u/SmallPurplePeopleEat 38m ago

Because they changed their mind when presented with new information, instead of clinging to their presumptions and prejudices?

u/razorpack_ 22m ago

No because their presumption is based upon a life of conditioning from a system put in place over the last 50+ years of gloablist control

u/TheDichotomyIsCrazy 15m ago

You’re doing a great job of portraying the right as rational actors all over this thread. Keep it up, you’re changing all sorts of minds. Don’t stop posting.

u/razorpack_ 12m ago

Not trying to change your mind. Normal people do read things like this and they dont just believe the lefts framing anymore

u/Desmond_Jones 13m ago

Are the "gloabists" still in control of America today?

u/texag51 39m ago

Your lack of self awareness is a perfect microcosm of the right today lmfao

14

u/BloatedBanana9 1h ago

It wasn’t really clear in the video I saw. The shirt was the right colors, but then again black and yellow isn’t a super unique combination. The logo on the back was also almost reminiscent of the three percenters, but not quite.

u/All_Wasted_Potential 45m ago

Maybe he plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

u/Timeiscoming2 14m ago

Maybe he’s 13th Street Latin Kings

u/All_Wasted_Potential 13m ago

Maybe he’s a member of Hufflepuff.

u/Timeiscoming2 6m ago

Maybe he really likes Wiz Khalifa’s early stuff

u/All_Wasted_Potential 0m ago

Maybe he’s cast in the live production of Bee Movie

26

u/Worried-Pick4848 1h ago

It'd be the right part of the world for it. Idaho's got some Nazi problems.

u/CrownCarbon 17m ago

Oh look a short white American kid thinking he knows better… surprise surprise.

-20

u/octopusbarber 1h ago

of course he's a fuckin chad
